Nasarawa / Technical overview

What the fieldwork establishes.

Titan Minerals Limited (TML) documented two priority exploration targets within EL-72885: near-surface tin-bearing material and the AB065 polymetallic vein system.

Work completed

Mapping & sampling

Reconnaissance was followed by Phase 2 geological mapping and targeted revisits to artisanal workings. Samples were prepared and screened using portable X-ray fluorescence (pXRF).

Tin target

Heavy-mineral concentrates

TML recorded widespread artisanal workings along Younger Granite terrain. Concentrates showed a strong tin response and were interpreted as cassiterite-dominated. The STT011 photograph on the tin page documents a purchased artisanal concentrate.

AB065 target

Copper, lead & zinc

Accessible in-situ vein samples showed coincident copper, lead and zinc responses. Operator-supplied samples had unverified provenance and cannot establish the grade or continuity of the deposit.

The next technical steps

  1. Laboratory verification of selected samples and mineral characterisation.
  2. For tin: reconnaissance pitting, measured-volume sampling and recovery evaluation.
  3. For AB065: structural mapping and soil geochemistry to investigate extensions, with land access and community considerations.

pXRF screening and upgraded concentrate readings are not deposit grades. These results do not establish a mineral resource, reserve, production rate or economic feasibility. Artisanal activity described by TML is not presented as AFROLEAD production.
